UPDATE: I will not be attending Keokon tomorrow. Logan is home for the second day in a row with a sore throat and possible ear infection. Unfortunately the only time I could get him in to see the doctor clashes with my con schedule. Sorry, everybody, but the kids come first. I encourage you, however, to attend anyway. Per and the gang have some super programming planned (see the schedule below) and admission is FREE! See you all in 2013… if we’re still here.

The 2012 con season starts off with Keokon V! Tomorrow at 10 AM I’ll be participating in a panel on apocalyptic prophesies and doomsday scenarios. At 2 PM I’ll be reading from my post-apocalyptic short story The Weller: Land of Plenty. If there’s time, I’ll also read a little from the upcoming Weller novel-in-progress.

The convention starts today at 3 with gaming and filk music until 10 o’clock, then the festivities resume tomorrow morning at 9 AM and run until 5 o’clock. So come join us at Keokuk Public Library at 210 N. 5th Street in Keokuk, Iowa.
