I’m pleased to announce that just before midnight last night I completed the first draft of The Weller, my third novel-length manuscript. This has been a long road, with school and dealing with a new baby slowing down the process. All things considered, I’m pretty pleased with it. Now the plan is to let the manuscript sit in the proverbial drawer for a few weeks and then I’ll begin with revisions.

What’s next, you ask? Well now I’ll be kicking into overdrive on my yet-untitled Sooper Seekrit Project. What is it? Not telling. Only a select few people know about it, and I aim to keep it that way until it’s completed. All I will say for now is that it’s a children’s fantasy that youngsters and adults alike will enjoy. Don’t worry, I’m not writing about sunshine and daisies. Far from it. This will be dark fantasy.
